Hidden Figures

These are two of my favorite scenes in the movie because of how powerful they are. Even put under all this stress from being considered lesser because she was not only a woman but a woman of color, she still was able to stay strong and stand up for herself. She proves she is more worthy of her job at NASA than pretty much everyone in that room, because she has to work even harder and she proves in then Euler's Method scene that she is necessary for this launch to be successful because no one else was able to think of what she did.

Overall, the movie is great. It shows that if we want to succeed we need to work for it and hard work does pay off. There is also a lot about will power. Even when life keeps telling you "you are not good enough" and you don't seem to be rewarded from your hard work, you just need to keep going. That message especially spoke to me. I have been going through a rough time this year and I think if I just stay strong and suck it up I will be just fine. Obviously on a much smaller scale than the issues the women dealt with in this movie, but the fact that a movie can has a good message that can reach to anyone is an awesome thing.

  1. "if I just stay strong and suck it up I will be just fine". Remember that, it is true. Best of luck!
