For my first project I plan to produce a film combining animation and real film. I'm not completely sure of my subject or the story yet, but as of now my thought was to have a bug flying in the forest. That was my original idea but I want something with an actual story line and maybe have a more interesting subject, so my idea might change. I suppose these are things I will figure out next week.
To start off I will need to get real footage and make an animation. But and essential part to this is motion tracking. This is something I've never down before and I will have to watch videos and self-teach myself. I don't plan on doing anything crazy for my first time around so I hope the motion tracking won't take up much time.
After watching this video I am even more excited. I hope my project will turn out well and be something I am proud of. Along the way I hope to add more than just the ideas I have now, but I don't want to put too much effort into my first project. I also plan to work on a lot of my project outside of class and hope to help out classmates with their projects. I am very excited for the freedom this year so I can work on any of the many ideas I come up with.
